This town is built on a peninsula that projects into the Lake and is famed for its medieval beauty as well as its breathtaking natural surroundings. After the visit enjoy a boat tour around its peninsula. Lunch at a local restaurant. Return to Verona and the remainder of the day is yours to relax. Overnight.

This eastern Lombard city offers a wealth of art and medieval Renaissance and baroque architecture and is situated in a privileged position overlooking the southern plains with breathtaking views. The city's defining feature is a double identity. A funicular connects the largely modern Lower Town (Città Bassa) to the ancient hilltop Upper Town (Città Alta), which is a tangle of tiny medieval streets, embraced by 5km of Venetian walls.
